      <image:caption>Alyshia Macaysa-Feracota is a community organizer and nationally recognized public health practitioner. She currently serves as the founding Executive Director of the Oregon Pacific Islander Coalition. Through her leadership OPIC has become a leading force in Pan-Pacific organizing on the continent, directing Oregon Pacific Islander Data Modernization for the Oregon Health Authority and passing HB 3144: Pacific Islander Student Success Act. As a consultant she brings over a decade of community organizing experience to guide racial justice initiatives across the public health, technology, data, and research sectors. Her organizing roots are planted in her time at the Berkeley Free Clinic, San Francisco Dyke March, and the National Democratic Movement of the Philippines. Alyshia is the former co-chair of Oregon’s NHPI Student Success Advisory Group, and serves as the founding secretary of suma. She has been recognized as a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Culture of Health Leader, Indigenous Data Alliance Data Champion, and Distinguished Alumni of UC Berkeley’s School of Social Welfare. Her greatest accomplishment is being the youngest grandchild of Evangeline Kanoekahali’i Macaysa, and youngest baby to her parents and two older siblings.</image:caption>
